I would imagine most surf fishermen are like me,loaded to the gills with plugs but have that one "go-to" lure.My dad started me fishing and making plugs at 5 years old,and in the 35 years since 90% of the time when all else failed i went to a creek chub type popper.This year i started making rattle trap type lures and had unbelievable success with them.Color made all the difference,chrome/black back being the winning color. Caught fish when others were getting skunked. What was your hottest lure for '06? |
