Thought I'd share

If at the end of the day you still need a fishing fix,
these are some local sites I read here in Ca.

www.senortuna.com
www.scsurffishing.com
www.bloodydecks.com
www.getbentsportfishing.com

Lots of good reads and pictures galore.

newbie John

Not even a response? I know I'm a newbie, but these are some coolsites. Albeit it is the off season, and slow reading, but it's there. And some crazy stuff on bloody decks with a couple of lost brothers. One was a young cop shot in the back leaving a 6 month old I believe.

There was a post a bit back in regards to San Diego long range boats. I'll do a bit of homework and report back. There are a few more. And I might add, not that it would be a thing for the east coast folks, but inthe Big 3 lot, you have to watch your ride. As in not bring it if it's a big 3/4 ton 4x4. They are a favorite to steal and bring across the boarder. But I doubt that any of you folks would be driving to San Diego.

If I can help anyone out or steer anyone, let me know.

This is a cool site, and I enjoy checking in and reading the posts. I've got alot out of it already, so thank you.

I'll have some interesting things later in the coming year as I'm getting involved with a grow-out/ hatchery program. Should be fun, and hopefully I can drum up some support around here to make things flow smoothly. I think I have a support system willing so I'm not loosing sleep.

newbie John

Can't wait to get out to the Atlantic soon!

John,

No biggie, just been a bit slow hitting all forums lately, plus we are still growing (gaining members every day).

Keep up the information, we appreciate it. I look over Bloody Decks quite often, as well as Senor Tuna. Good stuff, with great information !!

Get Bent Sportfishing also looks cool. Hadn't seen that one before (now I have one of their wallpapers on my puter).

I figured that after I posted, slow board/ membership low.
That guy pictured with the little girl just died hoop netting lobster. The next post, was a cop in Oceanside that was shot with a sniper rifle. 2 trageties in a short amount of time. Sucks. Both young family men with very young kids.

Hope you enjoy the sites. It is slow here as well. Just wait till it heats up. There is a big show called the Fred Hall boating and tackle show that hits San Fran, L.A., Long Beach, and San Diego. Long Beach is March 7, so the fever will start about then.

Like your site here, so here's a couple of shots from my 5 day last Oct. at Guadalupe Island, Mex. off the Pacific Star outof San Diego. Guadalupe has the 3rd largest population of Great White on the west coast. Learned the term just before I left, the tax man. 60/40, and he shows up in his grey and white suit.

Here goes, enjoy. Isla de Guadalupe

Didn't see the tax man at all on this showing. Came and left unanounced.

NE end of the Island.

My Pentex Optio in the bait tank. Cool camera, dust and water proof to 1.5 meters. Not much, but enough.

Inshore Callico fishing. Impressive.

Some of the take

Relaxing during the day long trip to the Island, thanks to flat water. Was told to bring a folding chair. Really was cool since there is so little space on the boats to just hang out. Good thing the wind was down orwe would have lost a chair or 2. I'm onthe left

The special hook that seems to work a lot. Available on Senor tuna.

Enjoy all.
