The EPIRBs with built in GPS are the way to go today!
As the rep from LRSE explained to me, if you have a good raft and a GPS-equipped EPIRB, you'll likely be found quickly, so you could trim your list of items down.
I have the ACR GlobalFix 406.....normally over $1,000 at the "boat stores" LOL but LRSE gave me a deal at the boat show last year for $799. (Got a deal on my Life Raft from them last year too! Good guys to deal with!)
My cousin in Mass "bought all these items for me as gift".....so there was no sales tax either
