74, Just saw this post. You can't go wrong with an SX for the fishing you intend to use it for. I have one, and use it for the same type of fishing. Pulls tog off the bottom, and I have caught bass to 35lbs. with it, no problem. I love this reel.
I fish it on a few different custom rods, mainly a Lamiglas CGBT 841M and a GUSA SW70H.
