Acid Barge Sharkin

Went to the Acid Barge on a friends boat yesterday. He is fairly new to the offshore game and was dying to try some sharkin. The vessel is a 35 Egg Harbor and performed flawlessly yesterday.

We set the slick up around 8:30 after taking a slow cruise out in pea soup fog at about 10 knots all the way past Block. Nice to have good electronics on board. At about 10 the sharks came a callin with a very large blue, a few small blues, a very small mako on a circle hook that was meant for bluefish and we think a threasher that managed to fray the line with his tail befor we got a good look at him. All in all a good day for the new boat even with the thunderstorms comming in. The doggies we a pain in the ass all day taking shark baits and baits meant for bluefish. Needless to say their contributions did not go un-used.

Bryan........any sign of Tuna out there? I was speaking with a lobsterman and said he's been seeing small schools of BFT on the move.
