Thumbs up Another milestone reached!

There are certain professional milestones that you reach that you are really and truly proud of. I've been fortunate to have several. Guiding Melissa Ciolek to 2 world record shark and a Governors Cup are a couple that I'm very proud of. Today I reached a milestone that I am not only proud of, but one that came quite unexpectedly.

Now it's no secret that I've been using Penn reels on my boat for years. I believe in the product and I recommend it whenever possible. It's also no secret that Penn Reels has a very small and select Pro Staff that is next to impossible to become a member of. It's a Pro Staff that includes names like Ray Rosher, Bouncer Smith and Dennis Braid.

This afternoon while working at the RISSA show, I was approached by representatives from Penn Reels and offered a slot in that select group. After being momentarily stunned and then trying to control the grin that was quickly stretching from ear to ear, I graciously accepted!

I would like to publicly thank Penn Reels for deeming me worthy to be a part of such a select group. I would also like to publicly thank Capt. Eric Stewart and the entire crew of THE HOOK-UP! Capt Eric knew that being affiliated with Penn Reels was always a goal that I had. What I didn't know was Capt Eric and crew were major champions for my cause and their efforts played a major role in putting me on Penn's radar. Representatives from Penn were in attendance at our "BlueFin Tuna Seminar Series". Apparently my presentation helped make up their mind that I would be a good fit with Penn Reels.

Thanks again to Penn reels and Capt Eric Stewart for helping me reach another milestone in my guiding career!
