Great Shot

Charlie,

Great shot of the Maritime Academy and Training Ship Enterprise. My son attends the school for Marine Engineering and does very well off the bow of the ship with stripers and fluke.

Funny you would mention Sandy Hook gman, Somewhere in my stuff I've got them from years ago! I used to fly with a guy down there quite often...

Dave,
I met you in Bob Prunk's shop last weekend. I've seen you in there a couple of times. I wish it was my place, but close enough it's my folks'. They retired down there full time about 8 years ago. Last house on a cul-de-sac facing back towards the Hills. Best views in Marshfield IMHO.

Take note of the shoal in the Maritime photo

Guys take good note of that shoal...there is bingo water if you cut that corner...the one if your departing the marina and heading into the canal...the last turn to port as your exiting

It moves every season and typically moves to the west

Cut the corner and you get to wave to lots of folks as they pass by while you wait for the tide..it's all soft sand but it can still be a buzz kill for certain

Great point Capt. Vin. I was amazed at the clarity of the shoals looking through the window, and how much some had moved since last season.

That shot of the West end of the canal is sweeeeeet. The small cove directly across from the canal holds the record for the largest striper caught from shore on one of my lures. It was my friend Joe Barnicoat who caught it there and it was 45+ pounds. Nice fishing on the east side directly across from the Meritime.
