I walked on and handed the mate a $20 bill and said just make sure we have fresh bait and check in every once and awhile. I spent all day getting our own dirty clams. I hate clams

It was a ball though I invited a guy I went to high school with, havent seen him in 2 years

In the middle of all this Anthony says "Dad call Dom, we need to go sharking soon, i dont like all these small fish" The guy next to me says "why dont you see if you can reel in a bluefish first son" ha ha I laughed so hard
I hate those globs of clam snot myself, which is why I always jig for cod and never baitfish unless I absolutely have to....

I would have loved to have been there when that clown made that comment to Anthony....If he only knew

Great days around the corner

Gman
Not much to say that has not already been said, Let this one go down as a lesson.I grew up fishing the party boats I have seen some great crews and some not soo great. But every day I am on the water I learn somthing good or bad ,big or small but I always seem to go home with somthing new. I believe that 99% of anglers are great people who know how to enjoy life and unfortunately 1% are not and you spent a day with that 1% I know your next outing will make up for this and you and Anthony will forget all about it.

See you at Oak Bluffs

Seems a good number of us will be fishing the Oak Bluffs I'll be on Soul Mate. We'll be flying an "Atlantic Shark Rigs". Should be fun.

No BS

I worked on a party boat for 2 summers. I always had my own gear on board. We had one day we marked fish but after 6 drifts and not hooking up. I grabbed my rod dropped it over with a wild eye shad. It was the first year they came out. Bam fish on. I handed the rod over to a guy from texas. It was a nice blue fish. Next drift I hooked up a dozen shad. I had 14 fish landed that drift bass and blues. That day i got scammed a ton of tips from the other mate. It doesnt pay to steal. Well needless to say they money i made it was used to replace the shad. Well when i look in the tackle box and see a wildeys. That memory comes back to life. All it was was a tail of the shad twitching and they started to hammer them.In my book thats bs he wouldnt hand off the rod.
