LOL we LEFT in EAST wind, 15-20 knots, from Pt Judith.......and had quite the ride for about halfway to the tails.......

I was concerned with fuel usage, as the weather was supposed to lay down eventually......but with the seas we were in, I knew I was using more fuel than I planned on.

Jim convinced me to keep going...I'll admit I was contemplating turning around at one point. But then again, Jim had already fallen off the Bonar and hit his head on the gunnel (beam sea LOL).....so that explains THAT

Oh, it was hahaha......I'll have to dig up the pics....had some nice fish.....yellows to 90#......

Jim took Boney (his 24 Carolina Skiff) to the Dip overnight once from Mystic. With an old '90 Johnson 70 LOL. Came back with tuna in the Bonar hahahaha......

I can only imagine the cross-eyed looks he got out there.....

When we showed up in my Formula it was dark, but it was evident we were by far the smallest boat in the fleet....the next morning on the troll, a Topaz came by us and one of the crew is standing on the gunnel yelling over to us "YOU GUYS GOT SOME BIG BALLZ!!" hahahahaha Maybe it was some of that, but also a lil bit of "crazy" too.
