I will give you a shout Capt. When are you planning to be out there? We should be arriving at the canyon around 3pm tomorrow and will be there until about noon on Sunday. Best of luck Capt.

Canyon

Did any of you get out there? A friend got some yellowfin, a blue marlin, and some mahi at Veatches Saturday but took a beating on Sat. and Sunday in the rough water.

We canned the trip

I couldn't go lines off with that much wind. Rumors of bouy reports on only 4 footers ..Nope I can't buy into that.

Heard back from one of the lead boats....HORRIFIC comes to mind......14 footers that look like 20

No diff..it's all bad when it's that tall they returned home at 6 kts

Good call but now my off shore itch has turned into a rash

Left Groton Friday at 10 AM. Passed the point and went another mile before turning east. Swells didn't look right and forecast wasn't getting any better. We ended up catching fluke between SE and SW corner of Block in calm before the storm. Red can at SW corner to hooter was full of dogfish.
