| Hi Dom, Just want to say that I'm very sorry about your loss. Let this guy go and get on with what you have to do. He doesn' merit wasting of anymore of your energy. The winter will help you get through the tough patch, and you can look forward to being back on the water next season. I'll see you in the deep blue next season. My deepest condolances. Steve | ||

I probably shouldn't chime in on this, but as the recent recipient of getting ripped by some users in this public forum who didn't know or bother to ask about the whole story, what is going on here should be a private matter between the capt. and the charter. I have no idea what the true story is, (it really is none of my business), but this should be kept between the two parties that do, and those of us whose knowledge of matters such as this extends only to what we read should not take sides, period. | ||

 | I am still so amazed at the total lack of humanity that you posess, demonfish. You are so selfish that you cant see all the reasons it was okay not to hold your hands with a PM message. I was fully aware that you knew my mom had passed, and never dreamed any living person with a soul would have expected me to run a free trip for them 2 days later. Saturdays trip was run by Capt. Doug, my old partner, and my trip with Al, all 3 of the guys on the trip took time to offer condolences, and tell me not to worry about Saturday. I thanked them, then after 2 days of climbing the walls, figured that keeping busy was a good way to prevent serious mental decline, so I called the guys and asked if they were willing to head out with me on saturday am, even though the forecast was crap. I am so thankful to them for giving me the first few hours of peace since the tragic news I got late monday night. We went out and caught 2 fish quick, and got back in before the blow. I stayed for an hour in the parking lot talking with them, and actually cracked my first smile that i was aware of in days.....then you go and spoil the reprieve i got, and totally ruined the few good moments I had all week with your whiny BS....all for nothing, as we see that you were fully aware of the situation, and just needed to get your internet harpoon into the side of 'ol Dom with some self absorbed bit ching from the relative safety of your computer...I guarantee you would not say those things you said here in person....chicken shits like you never man up, they wait till they can hurl sneaky shots from their bunkers.....way to kick a man when hes down. You should be so proud of yourself, bringing up all this negativity at a time like this. I bet your kid is gonna grow up just like you....scary thought. You really make me wonder why we dont need licenses to raise a kid. You are just perpetuating the dumbing of our species, and you should not have been allowed to contribute to the gene pool.  | ||

Dom, My condolences on the loss of your mother! Fortunately you have fishing to lend you some therapy. Unfortunately you have internet *******s like demonfish to contend with.
