Finally!!!

Left the dock at 4:30am thinking the NOAA forcast would be correct with 10-15 and 2-4. Not quite...15-25 and 3-6. After listening to 2-3 boats say they are turning around we pressed on. We made it to the BE bouy and not much happening except for trying to not take a wave over the bow. Started trolling and found some whales, birds, ect...heard a couple boats hookup. Heard one 65" fish taken. Nothing happening. About ready to head back in and the outrigger goes off...what a nice sound Got to test the new tiagra 50's and custom rod from the hook up. What great reels. Landed the fish and measured 56". It hit the black squid with a pink stinger. We were a couple miles north of the BE and off the bank. Were marking a lot bait when we hooked up. Had enough and headed in. 2 hours straight into the wind we finally made it. Nothing like some fresh tuna steaks on the grill

Nice going 245. 90% of the fish in 10% of the time. Glad to see you got one. Pay homage to the fish gods and they will reward deserving fisherman.
