Florida Fishing

I just hauled my 23 Mako that I fish with in South Florida and I am heading North .I think the fishing is decent down here and you can catch sails, dolphins, snapper ,kings, marlin once in awhile but I still have to say I would rather fish in New Engalnd and catch cod, haddock, bass, tuna etc. just like it much better and I also like the taste better too.The big problem down here in a small boat is trying to get out of the inlets and the winter winds. The nice thing about fishing down here is that you only have to go about 3.5 miles and your in the Gulf Stream. The nite fishing for swords has been pretty good and seems to draw lots of interest, nice to see some fish coming back.Well anyway just my thoughts about fishing down south and up North.Time to go back to work.
