Fished Thursday between the gully and tuna ridge for shark. Put out the chum, a live blue and a couple fillets. Within 20 min a large dorsal fin and tail appear in the distance heading our way. Gets right above the live blue, we had it down about 20', its a very large mako! Eats the live blue (about a 12#) and misses the hook. Our fault for only having 1 hook. Next time. Had one other small shark show up (species unknown). That was it for the afternoon. Trolled back up through the gully. Not much life out there.
