J Seas Out East Report from Sat.

I headed out east, just south of the BC buoy on Sat. Weather was perfect. Very few days like that out east, no fog (a little haze by Monomoy), light winds, flat seas... PERFECT.

Had TunaBomber (aka Chris Walsh) and my 16 year old son Jon on as mates along with two greenhorns from the office.

Got first fish around 6 am and steadily picked away at them catching 5 on 7 hits. All fish were in the 80 pound plus range. VERY nice day!

Caught em all on spreader bars, all different colors, each fish was caught on a different spreader bar with different colors... GO figure!

Fishing the Falmouth Grand Prix this weekend, looking forward to some more time on the canyons.. Gotta try to beat out the RipDog crew! Last year they killed me in the Bluewater tourney catching a swordy at night right next to me... NOT THIS YEAR BOYS!!!!

Catch em up!

Jimmy nice work on Saturday......

Regarding beating out the RIPDOG crew......Last year we brought up the "Miami Swordking" Greg Haronitis who landed that Sword for us in the BlueWater Tourney. He stood at the rail of the RIPDOG for 8 hours in 6-8 foot seas like a Viking and made it happen. It was the only Sword caught in the entire tourney

This year we are busting out the heavy cavalry for this tourney. The "Rastafarian Wahoo" Patty Salvato is making the trip up from the Island of Staten to compete with the RIPDOG crew. This kid is Deadly

All I have to say is - WATCH OUT!

TEAM RIPDOG

Jimmy O'brien,

unforunately I have seen your ace, one Chris I spend too much time at home in the kitchen Walsh. He could not find a tuna if it was in his pants. I wish u the best of luck! But it does not look good. lots of love

Mr Clay:

Just because Chris had to wait until the middle of August to untie the apron strings...... He is back and fired up!

Should be a great tourney!
