New Mount

By the way I just realized that I am posting in the Conneticut region and above but I live in Jersey. Ohh well

Anyway, I had a mount made of the sailfish my son caught off Miami that eclipsed the junior record. It just showed up ... all 96" of it. Pretty amazing packing system as it was free floating in the box away from danger.

Gray Taxidermy did an unbelievable job on the paint, its amazing. The whole top of the fish is an iridescence color. Major props to Gray on a job well done

Congratulations to you and your son again. He'll remember this fish forever I suspect. Beautiful mount.

Congrats ;). Nice looking Sail. Your son must be out of his tree with excitement. Did every kid in the neighborhood come by and see it?

He has called everyone he knows so basically everyone has come by. He just got a certificate from the president of the IGFA as well. When they found out he released the fish for conservation purposes, even though it shattered the junior record, the president of the IGFA sent him a thank you note and certificate to recognize the catch. he is beyond excited.
