No Trip on Relentless Today

I woke up with the anticpation of getting out today with a forecast of 10-15 out of NW and seas 2-4. Getting up at 0330 and checking the buoy I was not surprised to see 17 knots and gusts to 21 knots with 3.5 seas and building. Today was going to be a fun trip with my wife, a friend, Conor an NBS member coming down from Gloucester and my son to pick up a fish and look for some haddock afterwards.

Needless to say with the weather we ended giving up on the day. I will try again on Tuesday with another friend and his wife to see if we can get her her first BFT. At least I won't be too tired to watch the Pats beat the Colts in a close game in Indy.
