BooYah regal love

we headed out of falmouth @3:45 headed twards regal sword.saw a few guys sharking for monsta shark tourney!finaly saw some whales splashig around like a bunch of kids then what we thought was acres of tuna busting was about 5000 porpose on a mission !wicked cool to see!better if they were tuna!we finnaly got some love around 9:30 right rigger goes off .and i drew the lucky number out of the hat!5 guys on the boat and all!after 25 min we had a nice fat 54"charlie in the boat!we all were pumped!my second for the season so far! after 2 weeks of no love on stellwagon area this felt good!we had 1 more take down a hard one at that!but no lovewe were able to land 6 huge bluefishnow i have some re rigging to do!and a trip to se stew for some squid and whatever else catches my eye!all and all a great day !there were only about 6 boats which was nice for a change!3 tuna for the season so far 52-66".tones of blues and big bass what a blast!looking to do an overnight in a few weeks fishtales or something cant wait!

There is no cure

Great report and congrats on your success

Now the bad news...there is no cure for that tuna fever

And once you get some success in the canyons it takes on a completely different perspective...welcome to the land of the afflicted

I agree with Seaker. You are now officially $%#@ed! I hope you have a large bank account and an understanding woman.

I dont have either so I am stuck with an ever increasing gas charge card and threats of divorce court.

It may be insane, but its worth it! I would choose canyon fishing first every time given the choices in life.

also forgot to mention we went out on friday cought on rainbow squid bar (we lost the bar due to excietment factor! it was left in the water and got eaten by the prop!)the water was a turquise blue!thanks vin(seaker)i am completely aware i am tuna f#@&ed! big time!

Has anybody had luck fishing for sharks in the Regal area? What were the water temps? We fished OBMST just to the east of the dump and as with every other boat out there we were covered in blue dogs the entire time.
