Lots more to follow including fotos but here is a start-0450 marshfield gas station met woody for our nbs cod winnings from the AC trip-Thanks again Dave. Kicked the tires on a trailer there with a big black bad-ass run and gun tuna chaser. Hope he doesn't push the tuna down with his antics. made it to the marina and left by 0515. big push because tide was about low and the dutch hen's panties must have been bunched up from a Liberty dream. Left a thirty behind from all the pressure. bad call.In an hour we were in tuna heaven. Seems that Scituate was giving away free fuel to any boat who would represent PITA in an amateur tuna chase. Any pro had no chance of charlie love. One 50'' on spinning gear for a lucky angler reported after 2 hours of pain. watched in vain as curt skillfully wove thru moronville and Hans wove theport gear LOL.0800 time to finally get the irratants out of hans' mouth and go fish the way gentlemen do. Should have stayed topside with Fast freddy to watch the 2 hour spectacle. Ran 1 hour plus to for haddock and treats for the ice lady, Hans' fave. So fishcounter aka fishdropper bob and gang filled 1/2 the box. Once Hans gave me a circlejerk hook that would fit on my leader I was golden. Silver Hake, cod to teens, a couple green-eyed monsters and it was off to poland. Filled the other half of the box with reds and pollack.Fished till curt got tired of the whining on the radio about the weather and freds one more drift calls. I talked curts ear off all day, ate freds #1 sandwich in the world, learned more about fish habbits from Hans than I could ever believe, and ran out of bud light on the way in to see the funnel cloud sucking up the amature tuna boys in scituate. What goes around comes around. I could not thank NbSers for letting me win the AC pool for this trip and challenge you to fish ******* to elboe with woody and I on the Relentless anytime. The only things that could have improved the trip would have been a veluptuous coed with a low self-esteem to occupy the Hans before he cut fish for 2 1/2 hours. Where was Liberty? Looking for charlie in scituate? More to follow ![]()

That could be one of the more confusing posts I've ever read. Fortunately, I speak Bob. What he said was that Fred, my cousin, Bob and myself did the 12 hour charter with Capt Curt that Bob won on the AC NBS cod trip in March. Plenty of fish and variety, and Curt and Hans certainly did their best to get fish on the boat. We filled the bin half with haddock, then the rest with pollack. A few cod and what were called several big redfish, weighing in at about 2 pounds each, finished it off. There certainly was a lot of traffic on the tuna grounds, but great sights to make it worth being there. I would certainly repeat the trip, and I think that Bob was trying to raise a little competition between his group (which is apparently me and him) and another group, but he lost me with all those *******s.

| Sleep deprivation experiment completed. Results inconclusive. Three day tuna test coming up. I.m in training. Translation for Curt-Our crew could not have had a more enjoyable experience. From meeting Fred to Hans and an all day bail job on the groundfish, it was non-stop lock and load with a hearty amount of Bbreaking. This is the boat to fish on if you want to pull your arms out. Can't wait to do it again soon. I/ll split charters with NBSers when you are up to it. As Fred says "we might even get the good captain next time". And I still want Liberty to measure my "fish" sometime soon. | ||
