Rubber Bands & 3 Waying

Anyone use or ever use rubber bands for attaching your sinker on a 3 way rig?

Use same loop theory as rubber band but use mono instead

When I tie up a three way rig with a long line for the sinker leg I usually go with the standard lighter line for the sinker and tie a large surgeons loop in the end about 3-4" for ease of changing out a bank sinker with a girth hitch. Hope that helps. Here is the knot.

Similar to some of those above, I tie a short 6" loop with a surgeon's knot.
Pass it through one eye of the 3way swivel and then through itself. Then the loop hanging can be passed through the eye of a sinker, then drop sinker in that loop. Note: Leave the tag ends a little long and by grabbing them you can quickly remove the sinker for a weight change.
Also I keep a spool of 15-17lb test onboard just for sinker loops. If you get hung up the light line will break and you'll only lose the sinker and not the whole rig as stated above.

I do it the same as Bob .
Do as he says leaving the tag end long .
It makes it very easy to change out.
Buy a $4.00 spool of 15 pd mono for tying them up.
