That is simply crazy. You guys had a wicked day out there that day, and popping that shark up was a bonus!! Great video !!

He was originally hooked in the mouth and it slipped out and then it snagged him. It took exactly 12 minutes on the spinning reel although it was a stella 20K with 66 pounds of drag but i only used around 30lbs

I would ut unfortunately the only thing i hadin the slick at the time was blue sharks and a thresher who was way out of my range
