Sharkin'

Just curious if anyone has been out sharkin lately, out of the north shore / Cape Ann area? I am heading out in the morning, still trying to decide where to go. I was thinking a little East of Stellwagon? Wildcat or Tillies area. Any recommendation? Thanks.

East of bank

Rick

Sept 3 rd of 06 we caught a mako in about 350 ft east of the bank crossing over north of the double L's on the way to wildcat and I know of a poorbeagle that was taken close by that same area last year. Try to bottom fish for cod and haddock as you chum this will get them active. the mako was caught with a bluefish fillet

Good Luck

Curt - Thanks for the info. I ended up taking a run out to Wildcat. We got 5 blue dogs boat side in the deep water......a couple were pretty decent sized, maybe 250 pounds or more. We also broke off "something" huge. What ever it was, put a BEATING on a 50W.......Great day!.

By the way, the only tuna we saw on the entire run were about 6 miles West of the NWC....They came up for a few and then disappeared...
