sharks?

looking to make one last shark trip this weekend . wondering if anyone has been recently.we launch from pt judith , is the water temp ok ,say around the mud hole or gully?or doi need to go to the horns.thanx.

The temps out there are all within 0.5* of each other, with no real discernible breaks of any size in real close.

At the base of the horns, between the 2, there looks to be a 0.7* temp break between 14600/14650 and 43700/43650 (Loran), in that "boxed" area, but like I said near the base line between the 2.

The SSW edge of Coxes too has a decent break on the SST charts, of over 1.0*. On the 14450 line, between 43800/43750 (right in the middle as of 6:15 PM today).

fished sun. sw corner of cox ledge 64-65 deg.caught one BIG blue shark,HUGE! the guy on the rod was very tired. 2 1/2 hrs. no harness no belt.beautiful day,a fun trip to end the season! with thresher steaks in the freezer it's time to kill some deer. surf and turf baby.Lucky-Lou ,out.
