skittish mahi

fished 40 fathom curve to little fishtails sunday. We trolled for a while around the high fliers marking tons of fish around them but not hooking up. After a while we tried bait (mackeral and bunker) to no avail as well. I then threw out a bucktail and zinggggg! I landed a nice bull but then it shut off again. I've never seen mahi this picky before their usually able and willing to take whatever you throw at them.

Try squid on them. Toss a bunch of small pieces at them, and a couple hooked.
