Speaking of Makos

Look at this slob just caught of Venice .... 775 lbs on 80 lb mono and a circle hook while tuna chunking in 20 minutes they stuck a gaff in it. the fish jumped like 10 times and it never broke off. That sh@#% would never happen to us.

Holy chit. I don't know, if I managed to boat side that fish, I honesly might consider photo and release. Not for the sake of the shark...LOL, but for the sake of figuring out how to hoist a 775# shark into a boat (high gunnels) with 2-3 folks...eek

Possum ... that sum bitch is commin in the boat. I'll take the abuse but no release allowed ha ha Period no debate that sucker is going home with me and then I will eat Mako for a year

No way that fish swims away...nothing a few tail ropes and a tow job wouldn't handle. As for getting it on land, I'd drive the boat up onto the beach if I had to, LOL

Once the 600 pound threshold is reached by me, I would then be all right with letting pretty much any mako from that day forward go, but not until then!
