Sunday 9/2, Nice Day Sharkin

Headed SE of Block for a day of sharkin. Had tons of fresh bait and the weather looked great. First hit at 9:30am, big run off turns into a 300# blue shark. Big boy took us about 45min to release. Nonstop action from than until about 2:30pm. Couldn't even get a 'clean' lunch in! We must have caught 9 or 10 blues with none smaller than 150# and two at 300+. Biggest blue sharks I’ve ever seen! My son swears the two biggins were over 300#, and they very well good have been. Drift died about 2:30pm and we stuck it out until about 4:45pm.

Worked hard all day to try and get the shark we’ve been lookin for, but not today. All in all, it was one of the nicest days sharkin in a while, we had big fun!! So far we've had a tough year for shark, but I’ll take a day like this anytime.
