| We were out there, fishing was TOUGH, numerous boats reported no bites in two days of fishing. As was mentioned above there were an amazing amount of eyes brought in. Also there were 15 blue Marlin caught and released. We unfortunately didn't hook the one eye that hammered on our spreader bar twice. The only fish we caught was a 300-350 blue marlin caught up on the flats. Very few Yellow's and Albi's brought in. Only two boats weighed in for the Trifishecta, (albi, yellow, mahi) I think winning weight of 3 fish was 120 lbs. They actually split 3rd prize up between the two boats that weighed in. A little tidbit about calcutta's the winning boat wasn't in any calcutta's they took home 20k from the tourney, 2nd and 3rd place boat each took home over 100K | ||
