I would have to say without a dought .. Captain Bill Brown on BillFish Charters .. I use to Shark fish often but have gotten away from it in the past 8 years or so. Talking to Capt. Bill Brown I know he knows his stuff when it come to catching those toothy monsters. He has prolly forgot more then I know when it comes to Shark fishing. I have also seen him on television filming a Shark show with the boy's from "North East Anglers" and I know first hand to make a fishing trip happen when camera's are rolling is VERY challenging.. His phone number is 860 741 3301 and his vessel is located in Watch Hill, R.I. ... Catch em up .. Capt. Mike Neto ![]()

. First let me say this. Everyone has an opinion, I do not shark fish so I couldn't make a educated evaluation. However the one thing I would do if I chose to go is support a SPONSORof this site!!. I'm not trying to jump on you're case or down you in any way shape or form. Just letting you know my personal feelings. Ethics tell me if I go to a site and ask a like question, I would assume people would expect me to support a sponsor of that site. They and a bunch of hard working people are what keep this site running, And FREE. I hope you pick someone that sponsors this site. ![]() This is MY opinion only , Thanks BTW. I am not a sponsor or someone who works hard, I only reap the rewards, and they are MANY!..........Happy fishing Don

You can get any better than a hungry young captain like DOM at Coastal Charters, with no disrespect to all the others as they are all great captains I drive from New Jersey all the way to Rhode Island becuase In my opinion he the best. He put us on more sharks than we knew what to do with last season. In 3 trips we went through atleast 14 sharks including the new RI state record blue shark Lets put it this way, he is so good I locked him up for Star Island Shark and Oaks Bluff Tournaments this summer. Im broke now, but happy

| There are many good captains mentioned, but why not support the members here at NBS? Capt. Kevin on Carcharodon will show you a great time if in NY, NJ, or mid Atlantic, and I would love to hunt some sharks up for you if in the CT, RI, MA area, while Capt. Dave at Relentless can handle any of your northern New England needs, for sure. ![]() I do offer an NBS discount which will help in the ever growing costs of this sport, besides being certain to work my tail off to find you quality sharks. I usually am able to locate a few makos each trip, we get some nice threshers as well. The blue sharks I target are of the big variety, typically running over 300 pounds, and we fight our sharks with stand up gear from 80 class to 20 pound outfits on smaller varieties. We also have taken many nice sharks on spinning gear and fly. Please feel free to contact me via PM or at any of the contact methods listed on my webpage.
