Mostly a canyon fish for us but they do come close to the southern edge of the dump. A hoo is on hoop's and my list of our first's for this year. We have not caught one yet but had a estimated 4 to 5 footer give us a swim by about 30' from the boat 2 years ago while we were sharkin on the SW corner of the dump..

Edge, What kind a water temps to catch them this far up ?

For any consistent action, you want water temps of 74+ to catch these fish. The warmer the better.....

yup low to mid 70's the warmer the better.. Look at it this way we only have twenty somthing or so degrees to go
