SWELL RIDER..NC 4TH OF JULY REPORT...

What a day to have the camara not work... Had Ian, Mike and the boys from Long Island down again for alittle more abuse offshore..picture perfect weather, No wind, No seas, sunny and warm couldn't ask for anything better..Started off with alittle trolling while I checked out some new bottom, didn't take long before we came tight with a nice gaffer dolphin they seemed to love the naked split bill today..Trolled for a couple hrs picking away at a nice grade of Mahi and a few teen size Kings..Found a piece of bottom that look real good in 20fa , before we even came tight on the anchore all the boys were hooked up, 2 scamps, a big B-liner and Pinky nice way to start..We worked this area for the remainder of the afternoon putting together a nice catch of Mahi, Red and Scamp grouper, B-liners and Snapper..The lite line was a definiate killer today, It's nice to see the bigger Mahi still hanging around..Looks like it's going to be alittle breezey for a couple days so it's time to change the oil...

Nice work Ken!

Tough being a one man symphony orchestra, huh....How many front cover shots you think you have missed(this year alone) because you cant take the time to snap the picture, or when you do, the memory cards is still in the reader back on land, or the camera sitting shotgun in your pickup truck 35 miles behind you.

Hope the winds lay down soon for ya.
