Our intrepid globe trotting Capt. Jason Brice (skipper of Casa Vieja’s “Twenty”) reports from Canary Islands: "Last week on the “Rigel IV” - Day 1- 0-0, day 2- 1-1, day 3- 1-4, day four (1/2day) 1-1. No big fish, but everybody seems to be seeing fish everyday. Awaiting our boat the “Freespool” 39 Guthrie to be delivered. There were some good fish caught today. The “Hedonist” caught one 920#, with John Phillips. The “Bocinegro” released a big one as well, with Tim Choate." Last edited by Marlinhunter2; 07-03-2009 at 09:07 AM. | ||

| Jason says Elias Rodriguez is there and catching BIG fish: "I believe he (Elias) caught the 920# on the boat, Hedonist. Caught one 400, and pulled the hook(leader wrapped on the bill) on one 600+ yesterday. The day before caught 2- one was 500 and the about 350." | ||
