| 08-12 : Watch Hill / Misquamicut Trip Headed out again around 10:00 AM on Saturday morning. Fished Misquamicut and eastward, hard, all day. A few decent Fluke (we kept 2 @ 24") and threw back quite a number (6-8) legal ones, along with another 15+ shorts. Also hoooked into alot of Sea Bass today, mostly short, coming in with 2 keepers @ 14-15". Found some Harbor Blues blitzing on the way in, near Sugar Reef Passage and played with them for about 20 minutes and back to the barn. Great day on the water. Jim, where the hell do you go to? I tried hailing you all day, but no replies. Oh yeah, saw either some False Albies or Bonito this afternoon as well, in about 100' of water off Watch Hill. Thinking maybe Bonito, as they were pretty big, in the 15-20# class by the looks, but what do I know. |
