7/19 fished with MRS A

My wife and I headed out this morning in the fog at 8:30 .Had a cooler full of bunker on ice from yesterdays wash out .We fished in 40 to 24 feet of water from slack to incoming Water temp was 70.6 .It started slow with a few bite offs .Made a little adjustment once the tide started running and Mrs A had a nice blue on .The next drift about the time her sinker touched bottom the reel screamed She had her first ever Bass on ,It was funny the drag was set a little loose and the fish was runnin .I just kept telling her keep reelin she said the lines goin the other way as in out .I tighten'd up on it a bit and after a 5 minute battle the fish was netted and in the boat .
I had to meet my brother at the ramp so we headed in with smiles on our faces Momma's first ever Bass . I may have just become another bait my hook net boy as she said WOW that was fun .
