Blackfish report Clinton Ct. 9/27 Got out with a few friends today for some Blackfishing. ? Tide: Fished most of the incoming tide. ? Water Temp: 67 f ? Bait: Asian Crabs ? Water Depth: 20' and less ? Wind: SE 5-15 It was pretty slow with no big ones. We did manage to take eight fish home for some good eats. Was good to get out there.

Thanks! Hopefully it'll pick up some as the water gets colder. I think I'm just spoiled from last fall and this past spring season. Will definately keep at it though.

I agree we need the water to cool down. Bigger ones will be putting the feed bag on

Hope so. Lots of time left. Water dropped down to approx 67f and has pretty much just sat like that for a couple weeks now. Maybe this cold front and cooler temps will help. Deeper water spots I've gone to, seem to still be holding a ton of porgies that seem to love interferring with tog fishing.
