We went shallow, ended up with 6 keepers. Two were 6 lbs and one was 5 lbs, the other 3 were 3 1/2 lbs or so and quite a few shorts.

Should be a good year, if this is any indication.

Pics to follow.

Branford rocks of course. Top three fish weighed in at 17 pounds total. Two nice 6 punders and one that was almost 6. Good day.

Team Branford kicked A$$.

He's out Tommy, stopped on the way home. changing now I'll be heading to Branford in a few. I'll be at both spots through the evening and then I'll catch some Z's in the car and start again tommorow. Tough with only one day to get out

Carl "bought " those togs from the skill and knowledge of Cap't Stress and Plugmeister. He CAN catch togs! We had another 5 lb'r plus assorted barely legals and shorts. All in all, a good opening day. Can't wait for Oct/Nov. Oh, and we kicked the opponents' butt. That Bass (ale) will taste good. Goin again Sun AM with nephew Billy. Carl, you comin?
