I think that taxes forced Wilcox out of his Route 1 store a few years back. He moved back to where he was decades ago. If you drive pass the A&P heading toward Westerly RI on Route 1, just after you pass the A&P on the opposite (water side) side of the road you will see Wilcox Road. Turn down Wilcox Road (a right turn) and he is on the right side of Wilcox Road. It is very likely you could miss his place since he only has a small sign up by the road, and his business is quite a bit in from Wilcox road. It is a very interesting store to visit; like a trip down memory lane. Don't trip over his old dog when you first go in, as it always seems to be lying down by the doorway.

They are what I have. Sealskinz are wicked gloves, and work very well. You can still feel the rod and fish well, while keeping the hands dry. I have to admit, in a driving wind, where your hands are exposed, even in the Sealskinz, they can get cold, but much better than bare exposure, by a mile.

i was the same way not being able to fish with gloves. I just got a nice pair of fishing gloves from Orvis for the fall for fly fishing and black fishing you are able to tie knots with them they are submersible wind proof and warm you are able to move freely with them on.
