I found a 50' fin whale off the east grounds of Block Island last year and looked around to see if there were any sharks around it but didn't see any. I called it into USCG as a hazard to navigation. They tracked it for a couple days and it ended up beaching on Block Island. I got a call from NMF to ask for copies of the pics I took.
