| Have been taking bass there at night on a regular basis. Just follow all the other boats. We will be out Sat night as the tide (11:30PM high) and weather is going to be a little bit better. | ||

| Definitely 3-way bucktails with a pork rind teaser. Run 12 oz weight- maybe even 16 if the tide is really going. Drop and wait until you hit the bottom. then come up a few cranks. Keep your rod tip low and wait for a bump- it's either the bottom or a fish. In either case, make like your setting the hook. If it's the bottom you don't want to be there. Keep the pressure on when bringing 'em up- that's the biggest chance for a run off. And be careful for goodness sake- the Race is a busy place this time of year. The regular charters know the deal, but there's always some Bayliners or glorified jet skis bounced around out there. | ||

Ieven fishing the grounds for a while. Just wondering how it's been reccently at night (I've been working for a 1 1/2 weeks) Haven't tried a dark bucktail at night yet. I made abunch of them, do they work? I have been resistant to removing an ell for one.
