| fluke on 8/23 Got out yesterday with a friend. Tried a few spots we've each caught fish in the past. Boated 18 fluke with 4 being keepers 1 @ 19" 2 in the 24-25" and 1 26". Fluke weighed between 4 1/2 and 6 1/2lbs "boga". One big bluefish also. ?Outgoing tide in approx 55' of water. ?water temp 70. ?We used fluke belly strips with mummies. My score was 9 fish with 1 keeper, still bad in comparison to last year where we only boated 3 shorts but, will be eating fluke this week. |
