What have you got to say about the topic of: "Flukin Fishing.". Here's how is started: "Got out for the thrid, yes THIRD fishing trip this year on the new rig. "

Got out for the thrid, yes THIRD fishing trip this year on the new rig. Did a little Flukin off Westbrook with my Dad, cousin, best bud and me. Ended up with 5 keepers. biggest only about 21". Fairly slow day, not many shorts. Fished in 25 - 70 feet of water with the majority of the fish in 40 range. Bait was squid, sand eels, belly strips. Good day out, got a little rough in the afternoon. God home and had a fish fry at the beach house with the rest of the family, can't beat that. Going out again tomorrow. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

| Bryan, Nothing beats fresh fluke...my favorite! I was surprised that there were so many boats out for mid-week during the day. Grandson's birthday party tomorrow so Maggie and I won't be out until Sunday. Maybe we'll see you out there then. We'll be in the 18 Maritime.
