Funny Fishing off MV

Headed out Sat with on the Edge, my Bro-inlaw, his son Jeff and my son Jack for a little light tackle trolling for Bonito. We shot out from Falmouth to Hedge Fence and set out the impressive 4 rod spread with 2 rebel fastracs, a ziggy jig and a deadly dick. Within 5 minutes we were tight to a 6lb bone on 8lbs test trout setup. My bro-inlaw was amazed how fast these fish are on light tackle. He put on a great show before depositing him in the box. For the next 3 hrs it was just bluefish for us.

All in all a great day with kids and light tacke tuna trolling 3 miles from shore.

What did you hook up on ?
How fast were you trolling ?
Might have to try it in between run and gun.

Thanks

He hit a black and silver rebel fastrac 100' back. Depending on tide we troll between 4-5 knots. All fish I've caught in the past are on the deep rough water side of the rip and not in the face. We've also caught them as well as spanish mackeral off Cape Poge point later in the season. Good luck.
