Hand Held GPS?

Took a guy fishing yesterday after a slow start we moved to a small hump off the main reef away from all the boat traffic that I have plugged into my GPS. First drift I hang a big bass but drop him. Second drift the guy I brought out hooks and lands a nice 31 pound bass. As I am getting ready for a third drift He is doing somthing in his tackle bag. Turns out he punched in the spot I brought him to into his hand held GPS. I didn't think that was right but keept on fishing. This was not a paid charter. What would you do?

SAY TO HIM... "OH THATS A NICE HANDEHELD, I WAS THINKING OF GETTING ONE LIKE THAT, MAY I SEE IT?" THAN DO ONE OF TWO THINGS DEPENDING HOW SWIFT YOU ARE...

1) ENTER INTO THE WAY POINTS AND CHANGE THE COORDINATES...

2) ACCIDENTLY DROP IT OVERBOARD, IF HE GIVES YOU SHIT TELL HIM TO SWIM BACK

This guy is slimy as a eel. MOB. I have been on some charters and the
captain will look through your carry on bags saying he wants to make
sure nobody has any contraband or handhelds. Its also why some
don't let customers on the bridge.

A captain is more than just his waypoints. Its human nature to learn from one another.

On the otherhand he should have informed you first, a little underhanded if you ask me. If its not a paid charter, you don't have to ask him to go again. You win.

He could have just asked if you minded.
Maybe he'll read about it here.
