Great report Eric and thanks for the call. See my report for pics of Inheritance! I was getting quite the kick out of seeing Cliffy's rod slammed in half on multiple occasions yesterday

Nice way to finish up the season with yet another great trip!!!! Did you happen to check the water temp?

Cutting the gills bleeds them out pretty good?

Hope to fish Monday, don't know if I should go deep yet or on top of the reef........

Thumbs up Inheritance Tog trip

Andy, we hope to have you on board again for another trip next year. Glad you enjoyed the trip. My knee is still suffering, but it was well worth the pain. It has all winter to heal, lol. Eric did a great power wash job after our hallout today. Almost doesnt need paint next year, lol. Thanks to ablative paint. I hate to see the season end so soon, but you have to pull the plug sometime. Well good luck to all who are lucky to still be on the water.I will be listening. Clif.

I'm impressed! Dad's learning the "forumspeak" with even the smilies!

Dave (Relentless), they freeze up beautifully and for a long time, especially when bled

AlloyToy, we read 56 degrees this day. Last sunday was 57.5, the Sunday before 61. Yeh, I cut the gills (inside) both sides. Bleeds 'em nicely, the blood will run down thick when you make a good cut, and you'll often get "areterial spray", seriously LOL.

Thanks,

Dave they are probably the best fish for freezing you can get. I take an extra bucket of clean saltwater from the outside and use that as the final rinse befor putting them in the vaccume sealer and they come out excellent. If you want to come down here and get a nice load of fillets just give me a call and we can jump in my boat and get your freezer stocked.

Cliff, it's good to see you up on the boards Thanks so much for letting me jump in on your boat it was a blast.
