| I think it is something that would be fun and different. I am not familiar with that area at all. I will try to get some guys to gether for a mid week possibility (tues-Thur) next week. Hopefully I can talk a couple guys into playin' hooky and take a trip north. Morning or dusk better or just anytme? I guess I will need some help in where to put in and where to head once in the water.

| I do most of my mack fishing just outside of the east end of the canal. Look around the CC bouy time of day is not real important but mornings seem to be better. you cant miss the fleet. Launch at sandwich nice ramp with plenty of parking but they do charge.

| Sorry for the delay in posting. I went out of Plymouth on Friday with a few guys. Leaving the harbor we spotted birds and schoolies all around. A few schoolies later on Wht plastic and poppers and we moved along. Out by Gurnet we hit spotty patches of macs on and off. Totaled about 100. We sat in 70-80' of water but the macs were all on top. We could see them schoolling and were catching them by casting our jigging setup and retrieving (Xmas tree's or 2oz crippled herring). The jigging was real slow. Live lined em all day too. That was slow but finally produced a 35" by the end of the day. All in all, I wasnt at work but I didnt slay em. Soon enough! |
