While Capt. Ryan was having a banner day on the MJ II I Had Norio out on the MJ We fished the deep and edges of the channel with 6 oz fluke balls and .5 oz spros on top. The spros outfished the trailing bait by a wide margin The bigger fish were slamming the spro and ripping the rod out of your hand . Since it was just myself and Norio I got to fish We had 18 keepers and between us to 7 lbs Keeping just our limit. We only had about 12 shorts to release and they were all 18 to 19 inches I had the 7 anda 6 while Norio had a 6.4 and 5.5 We had many fish between 3.5 and 4 lbs Fluking is red hot Now Fish Bite on both tides and we even had a few through the slack . Since we left late 8: 30 and fished till 3 we got to fish some of both. I found the end of the Flood the best for more details on the marilyn jean II trip check out capt ryans report on that other site I use
