Unhappy Marilyn Jean and MJII

Monday 10/27 BLACKFISH !

We sailed with a small crowd of 10 anglers today and they were treated to a lovely day of Blackfishing. The conditions this morning were tough and it was hard to stay on top of the wreck but once the wind and tide came together the Tog bite was on! Just about everyone limited out and some nice 5-6 pounders were caught.

The Marilyn Jean 36 footer also had a banner day with tog to 6lbs
all had there limit a few had 18 and 25 each keeping only there limit

It was a real good trip on both boat

the posting has been spoty but the fishings ok

I'm Glad someone posted some good pics of the Togs. Never heard of Togs until I found the NBS forum. Now I can say I have seen one. Nice looking fish.
Guess they dont make their way to far south.
Never seen them in the Gulf of Mexico. But look Like the would be fun to catch.
