Narr Bay Pogie Help

Can anyone shed some intel on where Pogies are hiding in Narr. Bay? Just a litttle direction.

Haven't been out on the water for a couple of weeks and looking for a nudge in the right direction. PM if you don't want the info public.

Thanks

Zac

I had trouble finding them on Saturday also. I went north of conimicut from Allen's Harbor, mouth of the Warren River, East of Prudence, Greenwich Bay, Greeen's River, to the Jamestown Bridge, and Austin Hollow. Didn't see bait anyplace. Saw fish marking but no pods to snag. I tried and came up dry. I was fluking around the bridge and Austin Hollow (not looking for bait but didn't see any). I didn't even see schools of bluefish from 0500 - 1330. Very slow day.

Last I hear most of the harbors on the east side of the bay had them. Bristol harbor and the stone bridge was supposedly loaded.

There are millions of pogies still around.....Up the Taunton River, Stone Bridge, Common Fence Point, Bristol Harbor, etc.....

Ark Bait is not the problem, Jason, they have been fishing for 29 years, responsibly.

However, the geniuses up at the state offices failed to even enact measures to prevent other companies from waltzing in and raping our bay. A boat from ME, 150 foot reduction boat, can hold 1 million pounds, and worked till dark yesterday to get 300,000# in their first day of fishing.

Do you remember my rantings this past spring about this bill and how they were gonna leave the door open for some idiots out of state to park here and fill up their holds.....Where's all the outrage over that?(or are the "caring" masses of outspoken ARK haters just plain ignorant to this new twist??) Or should I say that the special interest groups(RISAA-SNESA) seem oblivious to this. Nothing like a good ol fashion band wagon campaign, loaded with propaganda...meanwhile the real criminals waltz in unobstructed and unopposed.....makes me sick.

That's what I thought too.....

The company claims they are bait only.......I am not buying it. We have no idea where these fish are sold once they leave our state, as we have no authority once they do.......The net boat for these guys is as big as ARKs main boat!!

They actually took 500,000 pounds yesterday, and will work till 2PM today, when their license expires. They will have taken 1 milion pounds roughly by this afternoon.

Ark was also limited to 75,000 pounds per day this week.
