According to an article in THE DAILY NEWS (NEWBURYPORT, Mass.) By Will Courtney, The Fish and Game Committee of the N.H. House of Representatives voted 14-0 Thursday to wait a year before reconsidering a measure to implement saltwater fishing fees. I hope that Connecticut follows suit and works on a feasible plan that can be supported by our saltwater anglers. | Maybe Connecticut will look at this and say "maybe we need to step back and re-think this to come up with a better plan".

| If it goes through and you need a license, do you need one from every state up there? That seems crazy. You guys fish a lot of states right? The license thing has been around as long as I can remember in CA. | ||

| CT is talking about a reciprical license with other states, however the neighboring states are not even talking license now. A federal registry is what I'm leaning towards the more I look into things. That would not happen until 2011.
