Headed out on the first Bass trip from Branford for the 2007 season with my good buddy Captain Walt K . We christened his brand new regulator "Haley's Comet" named after Captain Walt's daughter Haley. We left Bruce & Johnson's Marina around 2 pm. Headed out in 100 feet of water. Sea surface temp was between 52-54 degrees. We caught 6 Stripers from 26" - 281/2" caught on bucktails. The fish were ice cold - water temp on the bottom is probably around 40 degrees. | ||
