Popeye 2nd Report

Headed out on the first Bass trip from Branford for the 2007 season with my good buddy Captain Walt K. We christened his brand new regulator "Haley's Comet" named after Captain Walt's daughter Haley. We left Bruce & Johnson's Marina around 2 pm. Headed out in 100 feet of water. Sea surface temp was between 52-54 degrees. We caught 6 Stripers from 26" - 281/2" caught on bucktails. The fish were ice cold - water temp on the bottom is probably around 40 degrees.
