We left the dock at 3:15pm with Captain Chris and Rick, headed to the deep water were I fished yesterday. The water was flat A. We fished in 110 feet of water. There were fish on the surface that could have been bluefish or striped bass. We started drifting bucktails and Chris hooked up right away. After three or four drifts with out a hit we found the fish at the bottom of the flood. We caught 11 bass from 26 to 28.5. I used a light st croix stick with my new avet sx5.1. We were back at the dock at 545pm. It was a great afternoon on the water with good friends. Next week the bigger fish will move in. THE POPEYE REPORT> | ||
